A downloadable game for Linux

Kisa is a territorial strategy game inspired by two semi-popular flash games (Dice Wars and World Wars 2). Maps are procedurally generated. The game is sort of like Risk, but significantly different.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RESIZE THE WINDOW. THE INPUT FIELDS WILL BREAK AND THE GAME WILL LOOK UGLY. THE LIBRARY I'M USING WON'T LET ME LOCK IT TO A CERTAIN SIZE. Thank you for your attention to this matter! (Trump Truth Social Reference)

Strategy Overview

  •  Gaining territories and winning a battle as a defender has a chance of generating a card.
  • Deployed dice have a preference for frontier territories, so make sure to keep your frontier tight and short because otherwise you're frequently offering the enemy an opportunity to strike.
  • Capturing an enemy's capital (as indicated by the crown sprite) annexes the entirety of his land and immediately generates 3 cards.
  • Capitals that are not completely surrounded by enemies have an additional advantage of 3 dice in defense. Territories protected by a shield have a similar (addictive, of course) perk.
  • A power up applied to a territory (as indicated by the muscle sprite) offers a one-time 3 dice advantage in a future attack.

Notes and Source Code

The AI is still somewhat stupid, I hope that it doesn't bore you. The game is distributed under the GPLv3 license. The entire source code is available here!
